Details:
Because of the last inquiry I'm reposting the image of the moon to show the difference in processing using a TIFF file compared to that of using a FIT file. These are from the same video taken with an ASI178MC camera and an Explore Scientific ED80 (Bin 1x1). The last slide is a composite with the top half being the image processed as a TIFF file and the bottom (more detailed image)being the one processed using a FIT version of the final image.
