Details:
Comet C/2015 V2 Johnson (top center) and Galaxy NGC 5297 (bottom center). Taken 12-10-2016. I just learned about this comet recently and read that it is still about 6 months (June 2017) away from possibly reaching naked eye visibility to us earthlings. When looking at its orbital path I noticed it came close to a small galaxy for today only so I attempted to get them together in one framed shot. It's not a great image but considering both objects are incredibly faint and far away, being able to see any trace of them at all is pretty incredible.
