Details:
It was cloudy all night so we went in search of gaps ,it wasn't long before we where under the aurora display.
Then the sky opened up and the aurora danced to the tune of kp5.
Just then my battery was dead, i changed it as quick as i could, there where coronas appearing constantly, i inserted the new battery it was dead too, i swaped for an other which was fine , but my memory card was full from yesterday, i changed cards as fast i i could as the aurora was going crazy by this point ,oh no this card was full too, i swapped once more, great this one looks ok,
Just at that note ,one of the guests asked for help, i still didn't have an image yet,,but soon after the guest problem was fixed , my moment arrived and i pointed my camera to the coloured dancing sky, while the guests screamed out with pleasure and awe .
Then i was ready to click and to capture my first few images , just before the aurora died away for the rest of the night, in total cloud cover.
Heres all i managed to catch with the 83% Waxing Gibbous bright Moon .
Some you win some you loose but an other great night anyway everyone was happy including my self.
