Details:
We got to witness a wonderful Aurora display last night on our aurora-safari here in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland with almost 40 clients (most of which had never seen them before!). The two previous nights were bit cloudy, but it was still possible to see the green light shining through. But luckily yesterday the skies properly cleared for the weekend and we managed to witness probably the last bit of the minor geomagnetic storm that has been blowing now for 3 days already. The nearly full moon just added a lovely lighting on the snowy landscape for photography. And I'm pretty positive that the coming night will have it's green moments as well here on the arctic circle.

Lovely auroral :Display: But with over 40 paying guests ,Im sure you could afford some florescent Safety vest , or reflect snow suits,Im sure the guests deserve that at least.
Shame on you.
Its not just a business its a passion. Marianne.

Wow! Corkscrew... there must be some interesting interactions behind that one!

Thanks a lot for your comments!

And Marienne, thanks for your safety concern and suggestion. Im new with the company and thats a good point, but just to let you know, we had guides some distance away on both sides with reflectors, to warn about incoming cars. We were able to move the people out of the way well before any danger.

Yeah, Telorast0, me too I thought the corkscrew was really cool and special!
