Details:
While attempting to catch a 2nd night of aurora, this rather bright and long meteor was recorded. To give an idea on how long the trail was, look on the horizon to its left to see the Big Dipper for scale. The green glow noted through the high clouds that are lit by towns to my north is probably aurora and not airglow. Taken: Nikon d7000, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 @ 14mm, iso 3200, 15 sec.
