Details:
For the 3rd night of this aurora hunting tour I drove to Akureyri in northern Iceland, we had dinner, then drove a few miles north of Akureyri to find dark clear skies... it was beautiful even though the colours were not vivid to the human eye ( the camera sees much more than I do ). Amongst my passengers there is a vision-impaired 80+ year old lady in wheelchair and it was her dream to see the lights despite her condition. Mission accomplished, may I say... Big smiles on everybody's faces. What a joy !
