Details:
aurora photography on board of a hurtigruta boat, is kind of difficult!
but it also is exiting!
--if the aurora is quite bright, you might be able to take pictures around 1 to 2 seconds by a high ISO. then even the stars can be quite clear.
it also is very exiting, to stay on the upper deck with all the colors of the lamps on deck, the exhaust from the chimney, the reflecting waves, the lights on the shore passing by........
....and especially when the boat passes under a bridge like on the one picture....
