This was our first time see the Aurora Borealis ... we brought my 83 year old mother from Alabama to see them for her bucket list..... These opened up right above my head about 2AM... We drove 6 hours from Reykjavic to Northeast iceland because it was going to be the only clear spot on the Iceland...it was worth the trip
