Details:
On the eastern limb of the Sun, a strangely linear prominence group appears to make a student desk and chair off the limb as our students prepare for midterm exams. Taken with Coronado 60, 32mm Plossl eyepiece, and Canon SC 150 at 10X zoom, auto exposure.

set the camera in B&W image filter mode, then crank up the exposure time to its highest setting. you should get a great prominence photo every time.

also fidgeting with the white balance to find the optimal bayer profile can bring out more brightness!
