Another great night in Abisko! My wife and I have been on holiday in the south of Sweden in order to charge our batteries for the upcoming winter season. After driving more than 1000 KM back to Abisko, we were both exhausted but I could not take my eyes off of the northern sky as I hoped that there would be auroras waiting to welcome us back. In classic Abisko style, the display started slowly as a calm glow and then grew into a spectacle that filled nearly every available space in the sky. Seeing this incredible display has reminded me how lucky I am to live and work in such an incredible place. What a great start to the season!
