Find here a comparison between Phases and Apparent Diameters of Venus, the same with Mercury, the same with Venus and Mercury together, and a comparison between Venus and Mercury captured at the same distance from earth. All the images at the same scale, with the same equipment: newton 8 inches F6, 3x Barlow and Meade DSI pro III camera at prime focus. Real diameters are expressed in Km, Apparent diameters in arcosec. and Distance from Earth in AU.
