Details:
So tonight started with great excitement as we were expecting a big display tonight here in Gullesfjord, Norway. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and it clouded over completely, got very windy and even started raining. We decided to stay up as late as we could as we knew the weather would be clearing sometime around midnight and there was still a good chance of the northern lights being active. The skies cleared around midnight but there was no activity until around 01:30 and then we saw it begin in the south... which meant it was going to be BIG! And it was!...
