Ruska, Indian sommer, in this northerly country. Already ! The birch-trees before are even devoid of leaves. Therefore snow should be present around soon.

This ruska colouring is normal for the time of the year, however the first signs of autumn were this year quit early in this area. Already half of August the first leaves started to change colour. In 2006 the first snow came down the 13th of September. Compared with that the first snow is quit late this year :) However, last night the temperature dropped to -3C. No snow expected yet, but we never know, so: Keep an eye on the sky!
