It was pretty cool to figure out the dark band we could see in the sky was from the thunderstorm we had just driven through. My kids asked me what it was as we were driving east. Turning to head south, I quick took this pic looking east with the thunderstorm to our west. It was late afternoon, so the sun was behind the storm causing the shadow and dark ray.
