W 1679 roku Giovanni Cassini opublikował pierwszą mapę Księżyca. Na mapie rysowałem "Księżyc Maiden", który jest najprawdopodobniej dziełem zabawny Cassini lub jego rytownika. However, Cassini had to "moon maiden" see through a telescope.
