Details:
Massive filament reaches the limb for the first time. One can see the three dimentionality of the filament as it crosses over the limb becoming a prominence. It looks like a caterpillar crawling over the Sun. The Sun in white light for the AR2585 spots (seeing was poor); using RCX400 12"; For H-alpha used the coronado 60.
