Details:
A 'Phoenix' in the Sky. Nacreous clouds are produced when sunlight shines through small ice particles in the lower stratosphere to produce bright iridescent colors by diffraction and interference. Nacreous clouds are much brighter with stronger colours than ordinary iridescent clouds. These rare clouds are best seen just before sunrise or after sunset.
