Details:
Rio`s sky was 95% covered as I was hoping the 1.5-day-old crescent Moon (2.3% of full and 16.5° from the Sun) would appear through a narrow gap in the clouds over the western horizon. As it did, I waited for Jupiter (1.3° above it) to pop out into view too and fortunately, just when the Moon was hiding behind a nearby building, I was able to capture both in a single photo (first one). Details: Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera, Manual Mode, 5 x (F4.5-6.0, ISO 3200, 1/3 - 1 s); 21:19-21:25 UTC.
