These photos were taken 1 day before the very close Venus-Jupiter conjunction when the planets were 1.1° apart. Mercury, 5° away, was forming a triangle with them in the western sky at dusk. Details: Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera, Manual Mode, 5x(ISO 800-1600, F6.0, 1/3-1 s), between 21:00 and 21:30 UT.
