Details:
After already two observations with very faint auroras (08.08. and 19.08.) the night of 24.-25.08. developed into a marvelous aurora show. We had a very clear sky, with a rising half moon while the temperature dropped to a nice +2C. So: also hot chocolate time! At 23:15h the first auroras appeared and just after midnight there were fantastic dancing auroras. Great start of this new season, also in Salla, just north of the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland!
