These images show the red giant star Antares (apparent magnitude 1.03), planet Mars (-0.41) and planet Saturn (0.43) in the constellation Scorpius, Monday night. Nikon D7200 DSLR looks SSW from Marion, Iowa just after 9:00 pm. 6-8 second exposure at f/9, 2500 ISO and 34mm focal length. Foreground weeds light-painted by cell phone flashlight.
