Details:
Two Perseid meteors captured in short test exposures for a planned composite of the entire Veil region, these individual frames were shot at the HomCav Observatory in Maine, NY using an Orion ED80T CF Triplet Apochromatic Refractor connected to a 0.8x Televue field flattener & focal reducer, CamRanger, IPad and Canon 700D DSLR. They have been resized down here to a combined HD resolution and the bit depth lowered from 16 to 8 bits per channel to reduce the file size.
