Details:
Looking out my window in Calgary the sky was overcast, the checking the weather I saw that there was a slight chance of clear skies North of Calgary, not wanting to miss out a chance on the Perseids I ventured out. Driving 100 kms North I spied an opening in the cloud cover. As luck would have it the sky cleared long enough for me to capture these shots. The perseid count that I got was about 10-15/hr.
