Details:
The night of 3/4 August was so frustrating on the Otago Peninsula in New Zealand. An amazing auroral storm was ongoing, but the weather forecast was for rain, snow and lots of cloud. Determined to try and see something, I set up my camera at Hoopers Inlet, and, after hours of getting wet, for a few moments at 11:15 local time the sky cleared!
