Can anyone tell me which satellite was trailing the ISS this morning at 4:44am Atlantic Standard Time(8:44 UTC). In the first frame or photo, the ISS looks orange because I caught it as it was exiting the earth's shadow but the trailing object did not look orange in that area and I don't know why unless it was at a different altitude. The Blimp-like object seen here is an Aerostat that is used as an Aerial Radar Station that monitors the activity in the Caribbean Sea. Here is a Hi-res video of the rendezvous: https://vimeo.com/176874925

I am more interested in the faint one on the left of the screen darting directly for the ISS. It could be an undocumented military cargo.

The Heavens Above website shows the ISS path, but no other satellite matching the same path: http://www.heavens-above.com/AllSats.aspx?lat=18.0989&lng=-67.1292&loc=Unspecified&alt=10&tz=UCT4

I also checked the ISS blog...there are 2 supply capsules attached to the ISS, but they are not scheduled to separate for many weeks. So, I dont know what the other satellite was...this is a mystery.

...and you are probably correct that it is at a higher altitude, and just happens to look like it is following the ISS.

I caught the same type of image several nights before. It appeared as if a satellite was trailing the ISS. Need to post

Thanx Roy for looking into this deeper. I sent the photos to an expert analyst and he too couldnt find anything in the database. He does agree with me that the object is tumbling so maybe it could be a rocket body. Like you said, it is a mystery.
