Hi, the sky was forecasted covered with a few places with less clouds. Pass was supposed to be rather bright (mag -3). So no tracking as usual and nothing to loose attempting for the first time handheld capture in color ! The Sony A7S was set in manual mode (ISO 409600, exposure 1/3200s to get frozen images) behind an ETX90 equipped with a 3x Barlow. At this magnification (F = 3750 mm) it is impossible to aim correctly anything handheld :) Tracking - if I can use this word ! - was then through the finder, the A7S resting on my shoulder ... The night before it was carefully aligned on a star (mounted on a tripod) and focusing was finely tuned too. The A7s was working in full HD movie mode. By chance the ISS was from time to time in the FOV of the ETX :) After converting MP4 to AVI RegiStax5 was used to align VirtualDub selected ISS images and RegiStax6 for some wavelets. Well that was fun !
