Details:
Comet C/2013 X1 (PANSTARRS) imaged on July 25 2016, shows these days a tail formed for a narrow and long trail of dust very sharp because our planet is intersecting the orbital plane of the comet and we see edgeways its projection of dust particles which are spread at same plane. Its head highlights with a strong greenish color due to emission of C2 molecules.
In this widefield image the tail have more than a degree long (two times the apparent diameter of the full moon) until is mixed into the glow of a beautiful couple of bright stars which contrast its colors in the constellation Centaurus, at right the redish C01 with magnitude 4 and at left the bluish C02 with magnitude 5.
