Details:
After a quite fruitless season until now, we had a decent display of noctilucent clouds yesterday night. But today in the morning was the best thing I've ever seen through the years. It was unbelieveably bright, never have I seen something like it and I have seen some very bright displays of noctilucent clouds before. Also the structures were amazingly diverse and fine. The last streaks of noctilucent cloud disappeared at 4:35 CEST when the sun was only a mere 3.5 degrees below the horizon, which might set a new record - at least a personal one. I've never thought to experience something like THIS, particularly not this year. WOW! I hope you enjoy the images. :)

Wow amazing photos! Here in the Netherlands as well they lasted veery long, I stopped watching around 4:30 AM and they were still there!

I would really prefer late evening displays than early morning like this! Im already at work now :D

YES, Laura, I love your pictures, especially the second one, with NLCs reflection on clear and calm waters & beautiful contrast in the sky...
The perfect shot ???

Chance seems to reward the courageous who wake up very early !!
