Details:
I set out to photograph fireflies in a woods and got a bonus in that the sky was clear and the fireflies were flashing near the trees. The Pyralis Firefly (Photinus pyralis) is what we see as a streak here. It's also called the Big Dipper Firefly. Pentax K5 IIs, 22 mm on Pentax 18-250 zoom, f 4.5, 15 sec, ISO 6400, 9:30 PM
