M63 also known as the Sunflower Galaxy is a type spiral galaxy located to 37 million light-years in the constellation of the "Hunting dogs" (Canes Venatici), discovered by Pierre Méchain on 1779, consists in a small central disc surrounded by many segments of spiral arms. Several faint galaxies appears also scattered in the field.
