on 17.06.2016 these NOCTILUCENT OUTBURST are absolutely stunning observed from Bharati Indian Research Base Station. it was really surprising and new experience for all of us.

Sorry, but it is NOT Noctilucent clouds.

Nevertheless, it s a BEAUTIFUL display of NACREOUS Clouds, a kind of Polar Stratospheric Clouds !

Yes, very beautiful nacreous (polar stratospheric) clouds. High latitudes (north or south) and very low stratospheric temperatures are needed to form them. Bharati is at ~70S.

Nobody can make up their mind what to call these, lol. I find it funny that this phenomenon is becoming very common, and not limited to polar regions, obviously if you have paid attention. Call it whatever, the clouds are the same as we had here last year, at 30 degrees North.
