Details:
As dusk fell on the evening of June 13th, an extensive array of NLC reached the zenith from Edmonton! This picture was taken several minutes later, at 2345 local time, with the NLC lower and some tropospheric cloud closing in. In the foreground is the Nanaksar Gurdwara Gursikh Temple. The NLC can be seen above and to the right of the temple, with a spur of cloud darting to the left between two weather clouds. Sony A65, 50mm lens, ISO 400, f4.0, 1/5s exposure.
