Details:
This morning (24 May) the Moon and Mars were both shining brightly in a pale lilac-blue early dawn sky over Chikanga Suburb of Mutare. Mars is now so bright that it remained clearly visible until it was quite light. The Sea of Crises showed up unusually well adjacent to the terminator on the Waning Gibbous 92% of Full Moon. The photographs were taken with a tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera in night scenery mode at up to x60 zoom magnification.
