Details:
A friend and myself were out driving, on the look out for some birds of prey and bats, as we were approaching one of our favorite spots to see Buzzards, Kestrels and Red Kites we saw the sun was about to set and it was such a nice view, we pulled over to take some photos, and when we looked at the images we noticed a dark spot which I guessed must have been a big sunspot, so checked Spaceweather to confirm. The cropped image shows the sunspot. after the sun set we drove to another site and observed numerous Daubentons bats. Canon Powershot G9 F/4.8 ISO 100 1/500 sec exposure
