Details:
Wonderful experience watching the transit this Monday! Along with the Venus transit in 2012, I can now check both inner planet transits off of my list. The transit had already begun during sunrise, so the composite doesn't show the full track. However, the low Sun did allow some terrestrial objects to add a few more shadows into the mix. Camera Details: Canon 70D prime-focused through a Meade LX6 8" SCT. Photos taken at ISO 100, f/6.3 (from the telescope), and exposures ranging from 1/125s to 1/2000s as the Sun brightened.
