Details:
While out for the last dark night until the end of July to take photos of the milky way, I found the northern horizon tinted with a purple-reddish hue. At times some faint beams of red aurora moved over the horizon. A bit later I discovered faint bands of airglow across the whole sky, which often appears together with such weak auroras.
