Mercury transit images in visible and IR photographed with a Questar Q 3.5. Visible light images acquired with a Nikon D800, 830 nm deep IR with a converted Nikon D700, and 720 nm near IR with a converted Nikon D200. All images converted from RAW. Images show Vis/720nm/830 nm view and the black drop effect on exit in comparison with the 2012 Venus transit.
