Details:
The Canadian Meteor Orbit Radar recorded 40 meteors per hour during the previous night, but I only caught 2 Aquariid meteors (left) and one Iridium flare (right) during 4.5 hours of timelapse this morning. I put both meteors on the same frame to indicate the radiant. The bright trio of Mars (stretched by lens distortion), Saturn and Antares led the Milky Way as it rose left to right over the small town of Polson. The valley has a surprising amount of smoke currently, probably from eastern WA farmers burning fields of wheat stubble. I'll upload the timelapse video to my business Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/JohnAshleyFineArt

Nikon D750, 14mm Rokinon lens, 20 sec exposures at f2.8 ISO 5,000.
