Details:
Unknown: Assortment of night shots, various iso's, various exposures. Temperature range single digits to 70's. Year round. Clear skies, cloudy skies. Moon, no moon. Near ground level and in trees, and maybe several hundred feet in the air. Naked eye observations have been brief pulses of light. Different camera's. I believe my dog was barking at one of them one night. I watched the dog following something in the night sky that I could not see. I suspect bird, maybe owl’s, rather than bat or insect because of the temperature and weather range. I've been finding these in night shots for at least several years. I can now get them most of the time when I try to get them. Different theories, from miniature Klingons to electrical discharges, to Faeries, but haven’t been able to settle on exactly what it is. The right camera someone can probably get what’s producing the light. Good DSLR maybe, maybe infrared. Any thoughts are welcome.
More here at https://www.flickr.com/photos/rockyraybell/ I'll keep them there for a bit.
