Details:
The sight of the Moon and Jupiter close together in the evening sky to the east of Mutare was indeed a heavenly way to end the day as a beautiful pink Belt of Venus also appeared below them for a few minutes before the sky progressively faded to twilight blue, grey and black. This was captured in a series of four photographs taken between 17.53 and 18.20 LT with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera in sunset and then night sky modes. Some bright stars are also visible in the last picture and the tree in the foreground is an indigenous Musasa.
