Details:
This display came all of a sudden, and what a joy it was. It really shone between 10.15 and 11.00pm I suppose. The movement and height in the beams was large and the colour purple was very prominent. Then suddenly all movement shifted towards the west and created a rainbow like image right across the sky, Ive not seen that here before. Wonderful treat. Wind speed around 312/density 10/KP5 strom Bz -12 South (all approx.). Camera Canon 40D 17mm-85mm lens F4.0 ISO1600 Manual 20 seconds.
