AR 2524 was the blackest small sunspot I remember visually, almost like a transit of Mercury. Hydrogen alpha shot with Lunt 60, B1200 filter, Canon SX150 at 1/60", ISO 800, 12x zoom through 32mm Plossl eyepiece projection. Calcium K shot with Orion Eon 72, Lunt B1200 CaK II filter, same eyepiece and camera, but at 1/40" exposure.
