Details:
Nice night although filled with bloopers. Firstly I had to walk a mile in deepish snow and then on (or in) a wet bog. When the auoras went crazy so did my tripod. The quick release plate got loose which ended up ruining many shots. After I managed to tighten it, the images were blurry again. I had managed to move the focus ring when I was wrestling with the plate.. But eventually everything turned out good. The auroras were beautiful, moonlit bog was mystical, the wilderness echoed with the sounds of swans singing and owls hooing. So peaceful, finally.
