Details:
At a viewing session with Dark Sky Wales on Rhygor mountain above the Rhondda valley. While viewing Orion through a thin mist we caught a bright flash that continued to be seen for 4-5minutes. Checked images and saw multi numinary streaks (vertical though image twisted due to camera on telescope and mount). These were limited in height, but later weather icing showed up on vehicles and clearing as it froze out meant a limited layer of icy above the mountain mist and cloud. Never seen this before... the big steel works on the coast 13miles away purges the furnaces before shift end and this was the extra flaring we witnessed.
