Details:
After hours of intense weather drama and downpours of rain overnight in our little home-stay on the island of Tidore - totality broke through in one of the most brilliant displays of the corona ever!!! The sky was perfect. The eclipse was as beautiful as any I have ever seen - outstanding coronal structure - stunning colours in the sky - a deep 3 min and 5 seconds on display - with crowds of locals cheering and yelling for joy. The appearance of Venus and Mercury was just a bonus! My five camera positions returned incredible shots and perfect coverage. This still image is a screen-capture from Go Pro video.
