Another great night in Abisko! Tonight as I was preparing for a Nightly Aurora Photo Tour I was filled with hope as the sky had been crystal clear all day and the magnetosphere was still reverberating from the geomagnetic storm we experienced earlier this week. Several minutes before the start of the tour my friend and coworker, Oliver Wright called me and said one loud word - "AURORA!" I quickly gathered my group and moved towards the Lights Over Lapland teepee. As we approached our destination the lights grew in intensity and danced non stop for the duration of the tour. All of our guests had an amazing time and captured thousands of images of the display. I suppose it is always good to have friends watching the sky and ready to call when the lights come out to play :)
