The aurora borealis captured by the automated all sky camera at Ladd Observatory, Department of Physics, Brown University. March 6, 2016 at 5 AM EST. This is a 10 second exposure taken with a red / near infrared filter. The field of view is about 140 x 90 degrees. North at right, west at bottom, zenith at the center. 9:58:57 UTC.
