Details:
It was a nice, warm day with beautiful high clouds. I captured 22 degrees solar halo (outer circle around the sun) and solar coronae (bright, rainbow colored circles around the sun) in the same shot. Coronaes are produced by the light diffracting from water droplets or small ice crystals. The halos are produced by light reflecting and refracting from ice crystals in the atmosphere.
