Details:
King planet Jupiter rose over old Tucson town this evening, less than 2 degrees ahead of a 98% gibbous moon -- and then it promptly disappeared. (Click to enlarge and find Jupiter.) The forecast of 2% cloud cover was overly optimistic, and a large slice of the eastern sky was clouded over at moonrise. Nikon D750 & 200mm lens.
