Details:
It was a great morning to wake up and to be greeted by this grand alignment. All five planets were stretched out and nestled among the constellations of both Spring and Summer. Unfortunately the Moon was just too thin and overwhelmed by the pre-dawn glow to show up in the fisheye lens. I did however capture the Moon, Mercury and Venus in their own private portrait. Images captured with Canon 60Da. Alignment image: 8mm Sigma Fisheye lens @ f/5, ISO 400, 15 seconds. Moon, Mercury & Venus: Sigma 17-50mm lens @ 50mm, ISO 100, f/10, 3.2 seconds.
